Established in 2013, Brown’s Tailor has since become one of the foremost advocates of classic menswear in the Hong Kong sartorial scene.

Coming from a background of garment manufacturing, I have had the privilege of working with different types of apparel, but nothing compares to my passion for men’s classic bespoke tailoring. I am a person who enjoys wearing a suit or a jacket on most days of the year, and I still remember how, as a child, I used to admire my father’s tailor-made three-piece suits. I have kept this habit of appreciating gentlemen of style to this very day.

As someone who has a strong passion for bespoke tailoring, I believe a man looks his best in a nicely tailored suit coupled with a fitted shirt and a perfectly matched necktie and pocket square. People with little experience in bespoke tailoring may think that only those who don’t look good in designer clothing or people with rather traditional fashion tastes will go for a tailored suit. However, the more you understand the level of craftsmanship involved, the more you will appreciate the meticulous details in the art of tailoring. Once you have found your perfect tailor shop, I guarantee that this will be a wondrous journey without end.

I have been very lucky to be able to start my own tailor shop. I enjoy working with my cutters and discussing details with my customers on their own preferences. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the transformation of some of my customers, discovering how they have found the perfect look for themselves.

The tailoring scene in Hong Kong is very different from what it used to be. Tailor shops like Brown’s Tailor are now closely linked with international trends in classic menswear from around the world. We deliver not only a suit but an attitude or lifestyle to our customers, of which I have always believed proper attire is all about.
